Something's Different

I had to snap this picture because it is evidence that something in our household is shifting. I'm not sure why, or where it will go, or whether this is just an aberration that means nothing. But my commitment to mindfulness dictates that I at least make note of it.

It seems like a little thing -- but in the last 10 years or so, these two cats have *never* been seen snuggling like this. We currently have 3 cats; two tend to hang out a *lot* together; the third is almost always either alone of snuggled with a human being. These guys are like magnets: two stick together, and when the third is introduced into any equation involving either of the others, someone leaves.

Until this morning.
